Information on the Species List
Two-hundred and thirty species have been nominated for inclusion in the Western Riverside County MSHCP, based on general information on their sensitivity and presence in the study area. The process of creating this list has involved the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), the MSHCP Policy Advisory Committee, and the MSHCP Science Advisory Committee. The information column lists the USFWS determination of the adequacy of information available on the species. If highlighted, a picture and/or links is available. Official species accounts have been prepared by Dudek & Associates and are available for download. Where possible, we have provided links to other sites that provide life history information for species on our list. Please note that information on other websites is not part of the MSHCP database.
